Sarah Pink
Co-Chair

Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m your Co-Chair! I’m an avid long-distance runner, and outdoor enthusiast. I started Canicross with my rescue dog Jasper. He came to me with boundless energy and a real need for an outlet. Canicross has been instrumental in his socialisation and development, and I have met some of my best friends in this community. It is my hope to help others to fall in love with the sport too.

When we aren’t running together, you can find me and Jasper mantrailing, tackling munros, or enjoying off-lead time at the beach.

I hope you have just as much fun with Canicross as I have over the years!

Co-Chair

Hi, I’m Emily and I first started Canicross back in 2023. I joined the committee back in 2024 and have recently taken on the role as co-chair. I have a crazy cocker spaniel Barney who absolutely loves running, especially with his Canicross pals! We love going away on camper van trips especially when they involve a Canicross race!

Craig Weldon
Treasurer

My collie-cross Skye and I started canicrossing in 2022 when I was looking for activities we could do together. During an appeal for new committee members, I made the mistake of letting slip I had been treasurer with another club, so now I look after the books for CSE! In my spare time, I volunteer with SARDA and write history books, but nothing beats the feeling of being out in nature running with your dog, and Skye’s always excited to meet up with her canicross pals.

I joined the club in 2023 after moving to Scotland. You can usually find me running with my best buddy Winston the spaniel, who is one of the loudest members! Outside of canicross we like to dabble in hill walking and agility training.

Tim MacDonald

My name is Tim MacDonald and I’ve been on the committee since 2024.
My wife & I tried canicrossing for the first time in December 2019 with our two dogs Darcy and Inky, and we’ve been hooked ever since – as have Darcy & Inky! Darcy is a very anxious dog, but canicrossing has helped him so much, as has running with the CSE group.

I’m Winston’s other human, and joined the club in order to meet new people and exercise an energetic spaniel. I can usually be found being dragged to the front group by a dog who doesn’t like to be left behind, and outside of running I also enjoy hiking and playing football.
