Health and safety

Dogs should not be brought to the event if they are coughing or recently been in contact with any infectious diseases. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their dog is fit and healthy before racing. If in doubt, consult your vet.

No bitches in season are permitted to race, furthermore it is requested that they are kept clear of the race course.

Please listen to our race briefing and marshal instructions. If you have any concern about your dog or yourself during the race, please approach the nearest marshal and advise them of this. If you have any concerns about yourself or your dog prior to racing or after racing, please find one of the organisers and advise them accordingly.

Remember to allow plenty of time between feeding your dog and racing. Furthermore, allow your dog to drink little and often as required, but do not allow your dog to gulp water during the run or straight after. Please ensure they have a drink, but go back for more if healthy before racing.
