Getting Started
Starting canicross is easy.
- Join Cani-Sports Edinburgh Facebook Group for chat with your fellow canicrossers.
- Posts about club runs are put up in the Facebook Page two to three days in advance of a run. Leave a comment saying you want to come.
- Read the website particularly the Rules and Regulations and Beginner’s Guide.
Any questions read the FAQ, any more questions ask us.
Before the run
Fill in our online disclaimer. The first three club runs are FREE, thereafter it is £1 per club run until you become a member. We will pair you up on your first run with somebody to show you the route and tell you all about the joys of canicross.
If you need kit
Kit hire is £1 per run. Kit is available for both you and your dog.
Turn up and enjoy!
Our regular social runs are approximately 5k with plenty stops, and you can run as slow or as fast as you want. If you’re very unsure or just curious, join us for a walk and chat to us in person.
